To start with, there were close to $1.2B invested in InsurTech startups Worldwide during the Q1 2023, through 53 deals.
As a comparison, there were €245m invested in 18 deals in InsurTech Europe.
Most of the rounds announced were at early-stage, which means investors are fueling the future of insurance innovation as the next scale-ups are among these young players.
And the pattern was the same in InsurTech Europe too.
