In case you've missed it - MunichRE has agreed to acquire NEXT Insurance for $2.6B. One might argue this is lower than the peak valuation back in 2021. Nonetheless, this is $2.6B more than a slide deck and $1.4B more than what they've raised since inception. That's a bit of value creation, isn't it?
The first article, published by CBinsights, lists six predictions the tech & market watch solution details on the future of insurance innovation. If half of them are related to the current buzzword (artificial intelligence) it also expects France to become the European capital for InsurTech startups.

The second article is an essay Luke Voiles put together on the opportunity for payment providers to offer lending solutions too. It details the business model of lending and highlights its benefits in a payment environment. This is a great example of Embedded Finance, which could also apply to insurance in several use-cases.
The third article, published on The Verge, explores the future of Generative AI through Anthropic's lens. It relies on an interview of its CPO who details why he believes the company has a bright future ahead, and how it plans to differentiate from other players on the ground (including OpenAI obviously).
