The articles reminds us with what this industry is about, shares figures on its recent growth and details challenges it is currently facing (as a bubble burst is increasingly expected in that space).

3/ AI-based systemic risks?

The third article, published in the Financial Times, comes back to the recent meeting the FED organized with the major banking players in the US. This follows the introduction by Anthropic of a new AI Agent - Claude Mythos - which focuses on cyber security gaps. It's said to be so powerful that the FED had to warn banks they might face a systemic risk in case such a tool was used against their IT infrastructures !
